Although dentures do allow you to bite and chew, they only bring back about 25 percent of your biting force, meaning many foods are no longer edible for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you replace your missing teeth with implant dentures, however, you can restore up to 70 percent of your original biting strength. As a result, you have more food options, including your summer favorites!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summer Foods You Can Eat with Implants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While you can bite into and chew a juicy watermelon with traditional dentures fairly easily, there are summer foods that are more difficult to eat. For instance, without being anchored to the jawbone with implants, your replacement teeth would have a hard time chewing steak and corn on the cob. Rather than having to cut off the corn or cut the steak into really small pieces, your implants can handle these foods just like your natural teeth.
