Dr. Meisa Keivani
When you meet Dr. Meisa Keivani, you can’t help but be touched by her passion for dentistry and helping others. As a board-eligible prosthodontist, she has undergone years of training specifically with dental restorations, cosmetic improvements, and dental implant restorations. With her professional background and her passion, she makes an amazing addition to the Beach Dental family and the ideal new owner of the practice. Why Did You Become a Dentist?
Growing up, Dr. Keivani’s parents emphasized and deeply believed in gaining education and giving back to society. Although she originally wanted to be an artist or architect as a child, she realized dentistry allows her to implement both her creativity and technical skills while making a real difference. Through her hard work and her parents’ sacrifices, she gets to have a rewarding career helping people every day and seeing her design work improve patients’ confidence.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After completing her bachelor’s degree at Texas Wesleyan University in biochemistry, Dr. Keivani attended UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry, where she also earned her prosthodontic specialty certification. She is a proud, active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and the American College of Prosthodontists. In her continuing education so far, she has focused on cosmetic and implant training, finding the most personal satisfaction from the improvements these treatments make.
What Do You Do Outside the Office?
Although she lives far away from her other family members, Dr. Keivani is thankful for their support and influence in her life. She likes to take road trips and travel with her beloved husband to new destinations. Still an avid art lover, she spends most of her free time either creating her own art or admiring others’ work. When she isn’t expressing her creativity, she enjoys going to galleries and art museums.
